Panasonic's renewal of its 14-140mm LUMIX G telephoto zoom lens is based on the Micro Four Thirds system standard. In addition to its versatile zoom range from wide-angle to telephoto, the upgraded LUMIX G VARIO 14-140mm F3.5-5.6 II ASPH.  POWER O.I.S. (H-FSA14140) features a splash* dust-resistant construction for heavy field use while  maintaining its stylishly compact and lightweight profile.

The lens's practical zoom range of 14-140mm (35mm camera equivalent: 28-280mm) suits a wide range of shooting situations. It can deftly capture the detail of a dynamic landscape, smoothly bring subjects up close or shoot an intimate, impressive portrait with beautifully defocused background.

POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) compensates effectively not only for small, fast movement but also large, slow subjects, making it easy to shoot super clear shots even in low-lit situations, such as nighttime or indoors. Incorporating an inner focus drive system and stepping motor, the LUMIX G VARIO 14-140mm / F3.5-5.6 II ASPH. / POWER O.I.S. is more than capable of smooth, silent operation to work with the digital camera’s high-speed, high-precision contrast AF system for both photo and video recording. It is also compatible with sensor drives at max. 240 fps to take maximum advantage of digital cameras with high-speed AF.

The LUMIX G VARIO 14-140mm F3.5-5.6 II ASPH.  POWER O.I.S. (H-FSA14140) is designed and built with a highly reliable metal mount and includes multi-coated lens elements to minimize ghosts and flare. Seven blades give the aperture a rounded shape to produce an attractively smooth defocus effect in out-of-focus areas when shooting at larger aperture settings.

240 FPS DRIVE

CAMERA MONITOR CLEANING: If sand, dust, or liquids such as water droplets adhere to the monitor, wipe them off with a dry soft cloth. (A) Not doing so may cause the monitor to respond incorrectly to touch operations. (B) If the monitor is closed when such liquids are present, malfunction may result. COLD TEMPERATURES: When using in cold temperatures (10C to 0C (14F to 32F): Attach a Panasonic interchangeable lens with a minimum recommended operating temperature of 10C (14F) before use. CAUTIONS: Do not place your hands inside the camera mount of the digital camera body. Since the sensor unit is a precision apparatus, it may cause a malfunction or damage.
