Kono! Monolit 64 Black & White Negative 35mm Film, 24 Exposures
What is KONO! The Reanimated Film?
Launched in 2014, KONO! is an European analogue photographic company currently developing a range of creative 35mm films. Most KONO! films are based on obscure stock originally intended for shooting motion pictures, scientific purposes or anyplace else where photosensitive emulsions were used. Despite their outlandish origins all films were treated in a way that they can be developed at standard mini labs. The newest invention is a hybrid device called “Reanimator”, linking the digital to the analogue world on photographic films. Each product is made and packaged by hand. All products are pre-exposed, produced or reanimated on machines designed and built by KONO!
KONO Classic, Monolit ISO 64 is a classic European panchromatic black and white negative film designed in collaboration with Astrum Ltd. and based on classic films from Svema in the Ukraine. Its slow nominal speed of ISO 64 yields an extremely fine grained, medium contrast profile with distinctive tonality, making it well-suited for studio applications as well as bright outdoor conditions.
