The trees, trails, wildlife, and wildflowers of Forest Park have been admired for their natural beauty by the community for decades. For over 30 years, the Forest Park Conservancy has worked to ensure Forest Park is protected and adequately maintained for generations to come.

This summer, our community partner The Forest Park Conservancy is celebrating their work and raising money with a photography contest. Whether you're an amateur or professional photographer, you can help us support Forest Park and continue supporting Forest Park Conservancy’s work by simply entering the Forest Park Photography Contest.

Photographers of all ages and abilities can enter photos through an online platform. By capturing and sharing what you love about Forest Park as only a nature photographer can, you’ll help spread awareness and passion for safeguarding this 5,200-acre urban forest for generations to come. Help us protect, restore, and connect people to Forest Park.

  • A one-time administrative fee of $5 is required for all contest participants.
  • Photos must be submitted electronically.
  • Photographers will retain original copyrights to their photos.
  • Entrants grant Forest Park Conservancy permission to use their photo(s) in any publication, marketing or fundraising initiatives, and on the Forest Park Conservancy website. All photos used will receive captioning where possible.
  • All decisions by the voters are final.
  • Only submissions that adhere to the Contest Rules and Submission Guidelines are eligible to win.
