Order Support Specialist
Executes effective daily management of sales orders and inventory.
General Responsibilities:

An Order Support Specialist is responsible for providing customer service with an emphasis on:
-
Working as part of the Inventory Team on ensuring order accuracy, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Reviewing and resolving the daily sales order backlog, providing detailed updates to customers and management.
-
Resolving any emerging problems that customers might have with inventory, orders, or product availability.
-
Monitoring customer returns and giving recommendations based on the data obtained.
-
Assist with creation and administration of sales orders, refunds, exchanges, and purchase orders.
-
Work closely with Accounting to ensure that customer payment records are accurate and complete.

Escalate customer issues to the appropriate coworker
-
May be asked to participate in projects and cross-functional teams to help support department and company initiatives

Order Fulfillment
-
Picking orders from the sales floor and other stocking locations
-
Packaging goods for pickup and shipment
-
Creating and applying shipping labels, communicating tracking information to customers
-
Processing returns and refunds
Order Management
-
Updating orders per customer request
-
Updating Customer information
-
Relaying product and shipment delay notifications to customers
-
Maintaining pre order, backorder and special order status accuracy and reports
-
Investigating and resolving product availability issues, discrepancies
Inventory Control
-
Perform Inventory cycle counts, adjust inventory levels accordingly and produce accurate documentation of the process

Collecting customer transaction data from sales systems to apply to each Vendor’s Instant Rebate claim. Maintaining records of Instant Rebate claims in collaboration with the Accounting Team.
Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative

Strong phone and email contact handling skills, active listening

Familiarity with support ticket management systems and practices

Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

Independent and quick decision making based on guidelines

Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

Ability to prioritize, and manage time effectively
Supervision:
-
Works under the general supervision of the Inventory Manager
-
Work is performed independently in accordance with company policies.
-
The supervisor is available to consult on problems and policy decisions.
-
Work is reviewed for the quantity and quality of work provided to the company.
Total of 40 hours per week.
Pay Range is $16-18/hr.
