Retail Sales Associate

You’ll be helping our customers with product questions, performing training and helping us be the best camera store on the planet.

A Retail Sales Associate provides sales assistance and expert product knowledge to our customers.

You’re a great listener and treat a customer’s issues as your own. You love working as part of a team that are all striving for the same goal. You’re a real joy to be around!

General Responsibilities:

  • Providing a shopping experience that exceeds our customer’s expectations for customer service and product knowledge.
  • Helping our customers in person, phone, email, or chat.
  • Acting as the primary representative of our company to retail customers in public interactions.
  • Making connections that endure with customers and the photographic community.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven customer service experience
  • Strong phone and email contact handling skills, active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to be self guided and work independently
  • Desire to be part of a team and to help that team achieve its goals
  • Ability to prioritize a constantly shifting list of tasks and manage time effectively
  • Be able to consistently interact with coworkers and the public in a pleasant, tactful and courteous manner
  • Ability and willingness to maintain skill relevancy in a constantly changing retail environment
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization and across departments.
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.

 

Total of 40 hours per week. Saturday availability is a requirement.

Pay range from $16-$18/hour, vendor incentives are available for sales of specific products
