ProMaster Tripod Thread Adapter 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 (5 Pack)

Let's you mount items with a larger 3/8"-16 threaded port to a smaller 1/4"-20 threaded bolt or screw.

Commonly known as "Tripod Thread Adapters" or "Tripod Bushings", these little doodads are tremendously handy for tripods and a lot more! They allow you to adapt equipment between the two most common sizes in the photographic industry by reducing a 3/8"-16 female threaded port to a 1/4"-20 female threaded port. 

The most common use is when mounting a tripod head with a 3/8"-16 port in its base to a tripod that has a 1/4"-20 threaded post. Some telephoto lenses also have a larger size port in their tripod collar and may need to be adapted to a smaller quick release plate. And most types of grip equipment use these two, common sizes.
